What to include in a custom lighting brief
- Space and use: room type, ceiling height, furniture dimensions and whether the light is for dining, reading, atmosphere or another activity.
- References: the SAPCELURE model you are considering, drawings or reference images, and the specific changes requested.
- Materials and finish: your preferred material, color and surface treatment. A reference image alone may not define these precisely.
- Electrical and installation requirements: destination country, supply requirements, mounting conditions and any requested dimming or controls.
- Quantity and schedule: the number of fixtures, delivery location and the date your project needs them.

From a design idea to a specification
Custom requests are reviewed individually. A requested size, finish or feature is not confirmed until its feasibility and terms have been agreed. Use the following points to structure the discussion.
1. Define the change
Separate appearance from function. A longer fixture, a different finish and a different light distribution are distinct requests. Explain which matters most and which dimensions or details must remain fixed.
2. Review technical requirements
Confirm the proposed dimensions, material, mounting method, input supply and light source. If dimming or a particular certification is required, raise it at this stage. Availability depends on the model and project; it should not be assumed from a room image or another product.
3. Agree the review materials
Ask which drawings, finish references, samples or other documents can be provided for the project, and whether they involve separate costs or lead times. The scope of review and approval should be clear before committing to production.
4. Confirm price and timing
Agree the final configuration, quantities, pricing and production schedule before ordering. Production time and shipping transit time are different; discuss both against your project deadline.

- Model or project reference, quantity and approved dimensions.
- Materials, finish and any agreed appearance tolerances.
- Electrical configuration, controls and installation requirements.
- Included components, documentation and any required certification evidence.
- Agreed price, payment terms, production timing and delivery arrangements.
- Custom-order cancellation conditions and after-sales arrangements.

Common questions about development and production
Can every product be customized?
No blanket customization claim applies to the collection. Send the model and requested change so feasibility can be reviewed. Selecting a standard catalogue option does not by itself make an order bespoke.
Do you work with individual buyers as well as designers?
We welcome personal purchases and enquiries from interior designers planning homes, hotels, restaurants, offices and retail spaces. Share the quantity and requirements; any project-specific conditions need confirmation.
Are all items original SAPCELURE designs?
Our offering combines original development and selected collections. Refer to the individual product description and ask about provenance where this is important to your project.
Where are development and production based?
